Kyle Camarro
Kyle Camarro, owner of Projetech Construction Management & Services, also serves as Chief Executive Officer. Throughout Kyle’s distinguished career in real estate development and construction management, he has demonstrated exceptional expertise in land-use portfolio optimization, with a reputation for integrity, success, and extreme competence. Having worked under influential leaders across the construction landscape, Kyle possesses a comprehensive perspective, enabling him to adeptly manage a diverse range of complex projects.
Before joining Projetech, Kyle honed his skills at regional firms, eventually becoming a major contributor to the success of PCL Constructors Inc., Canada’s leading construction company where he spent 7 years working across a category of high-profile projects. Recognized for his acumen, Kyle was recruited and transitioned to RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust, one of Canada’s largest REITs with a total enterprise value of almost $15 billion and a portfolio exceeding 225 properties. During his tenure, he was entrusted with the creation of a construction group focused on prime, transit-oriented locations. Subsequently, Kyle founded the Camarro Group, a real estate development venture with assets in both Canada and Turks and Caicos. Having lived in TCI for nearly a decade, with multiple business interests in Turks & Caicos, Kyle understands the unique and special nature of island life and is a true and committed stakeholder.
David Hartshorn
David Hartshorn, founder of Projetech Construction Management & Services, is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor born in the UK in 1952. After landing in Turks and Caicos in 1981, David made significant strides in his storied development and construction career. Having initially joined a British Construction Company to develop the international airport at Providenciales and the island’s first paved roads, his leadership was instrumental in projects such as Club Med Hotel and Parrot Cay Resort.

In 1996, David founded Projetech Construction Management & Services Limited, propelling it to industry recognition built upon trust and quality. He sold the company in 2023, as he approached retirement, transitioning to the leadership of veteran developer and island resident Kyle Camarro. Despite the change, David, a Belonger since 1992, propelled Projetech into becoming one of the premier construction companies in TCI, with a reputation for honesty, integrity, commitment to the islands, and the highest quality and excellence in development projects. David remains integral to the firm during this transitional phase and plans to spend his retirement years in Turks & Caicos.
Steve Thompson
Steve Thompson, with a robust tenure of more than 35 years in the construction industry, has spent nearly three decades of his career contributing to projects in the Turks & Caicos Islands. An alumnus with a first-class Honours Degree in Quantity Surveying, Steve is pivotal in steering the contractual, financial, and operational facets of Projetech Construction Management Services. Under his leadership, the company has enjoyed sustained growth, ensuring timely project delivery while maintaining the highest standard of quality and safety. With a proven track record in overseeing large-scale construction projects, Steve’s expertise has positioned Projetech as not just an industry leader, but a trusted partner for complex endeavours.
